The California Poppy is the state flower in California. The vibrant orange, cup-shaped flowers, are 2-4 inches in diameter, borne individually on long stalks. They are very easy to grow in gardens. They survive mild winters in its native range, dying completely in colder climates; growth is best in full sun and sandy, well-drained, soil.
My love of the arts began at a young age. Always one to enjoy color and light, it was clear early on that I would share my passion with others. Through my innovative fine art photography, I am able to enhance the world as I see it, creating memorable and unique images. I am endlessly inspired by the nature around me and especially influenced by flowers, scenery, and wildlife. My images have been used on book covers, magazine covers, and online advertising.
