Description

I am fascinated with abandoned buildings. My visit to Milledgeville, GA was no exception. I wish I could have gone inside some of these buildings.

Georgia's state mental asylum located in Milledgeville, Georgia, was known as the Central State Hospital. It was the state's largest facility for treatment of mental illness and developmental disabilities. CHS accepted its first patient in December 1842 and closed their doors in 2010.
